Very cool post Mr Brown. Cheers for this!
It’s very interesting to learn the difference between “leadership” and “management” in that leadership is “knowing what’s worth doing” and knowing how to be a leader is more important than knowing how to be a manager.
The other two points are awesome too. Every entrepreneur needs to know these.

It’s an awesome article to know about the difference between a “Leader” and a “Manager”. Nowadays many people are missing to understand this difference which definitely loose the focus on what exactly they need to do.
The examples you have mentioned for – Patience and persistence as well as Team and People Focus – explains the need of an entrepreneur in a single shot.
Really i got inspired with this article and its worth reading it.
Thanks,
Mani
Nice article, but I must disagree with no. 1. Leadership and management should not contradict each other. Instead, they should be harmonized with each other. Leadership is part of management. It is the heart of management. The body and the heart must co-exist with each other.
Leadership and Management are often confused. I like the way you’ve separated these in the post.

I want to commend you on consolidating entrepreneurship into these simple points. Each of the above is highly critical for long term success. I would add that providing a strong focus and direction for the company is also important. I have seen many companies make money but not to their fullest potential because they didn’t understand where they can best add value. As a person and as a business you should identify your core competencies then serve the heck out of every one in need of your product or service.
